Knit Shorts

Tuesday, March 20, 2012

I finished my second pair of knit shorts, the ones that I've been talking about for ages. My first pair didn't fit at all, so I ended up ripping them out and trying again. This time I followed Nicola's adaptions for some of it and made the rest of it up as I went along. Which is probably the reason that they are a bit wonky but I'm still pretty happy with them. They are surprisingly cozy! Also, it's really hard to take pictures of yourself. This is the only shot that worked, the rest are just funny.

    1. Thanks, girl! I've also still been wearing your knitted bow all the time. You should really put some more in your Etsy shop!

  2. I can just imagine some with chunkier material to be SUPER cozy, for lazy days.

    1. Yeah! They might get a little bulky, since you have to sew the inseams together but if they were a bit looser they would be soooo cozy.

  3. Yo girl, those are cute! I've seen some done in grey and I've honestly thought of attempting them, but idk how they'd look on me.

    1. Thanks! My first ones were actually grey which I obviously loved, but this yarn was a bit thicker and warmer. I felt the same way about the fit, and to honest, I'm not sure I'll wear them much out of the house. Buuut, they are still good cozy at home wear. And super easy to make!

    1. You must have a very strange fetish for knitted granny shorts, then.
