A Tea Party for Tiggy

Monday, February 13, 2012

It was Tiggy's 17th birthday last weekend, so I had a tea party for him. I'm completely aware of how ridiculous it sounds, but I'll take any excuse to have my friends over to eat scones and drink tea. And to celebrate my favourite little buddy of course. Tiggy got a tuna cupcake (his favourite, although he was quite confused by the birthday candle in it) and promptly passed out on the couch afterwards like the old man he is. I made a full English style tea menu and we spent the entire Sunday afternoon talking and sipping many tiny porcelain cups of tea. I'm so lucky to have friends that indulge my crazy cat lady tendencies! And happy, happy birthday to my Tiggy.

    1. Yes, he is very much an old man! I've had him since I was a little girl. So, it is definitely something to celebrate I think!

    1. He is the sweetest old man! I have the funniest picture of him, where he looks almost drunk from the tuna. He is really so funny. I had my mom bring over the stand from Canada for our wedding! They are so hard to find here and this one can collapse down which is really handy.

Tiggy is looking pretty good for 17! And pretty happy from all the attention too.

    1. It is a teeny bit ridiculous but I think Tiggy actually had a really good time with all the treats and extra cuddles.
